Composed by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. Arranged by Nathaniel Hontz. This edition: pdf, streaming. 20th Century, Barbershop, Children, Film/TV, March. 30 pages. TigerSong LLC #1221294. Published by TigerSong LLC (A0.1654815).A terrific, radiant, and humble medley of the fair songs from Charlotte's Web, arranged forr German Brass Band (2 trumpets/flugelhorns, tenorhorn/baritone in Bb, trombone, tuba, drums, and optional glockenspiel). The medley opens and closes with the bombastic and celebratory march, "Zuckerman's Famous Pig." The introduction is done in the style of the barbershop quartet that starts the song. The middle is Templeton the Rat's rhapsody, "The Fair is a Veritable Smorgasbord," transformed from a tipsy waltz into a peppy 6/8 march. This is a great, child-friendly piece that's perfect for summer and festivals.
