The groove and melodic styling is informed by the Jackson 5 version of the latter, and both songs are lightly reharmonised to customise them to the requirements of contest barbershop (BHS system).
It is a challenging sing, both in terms of vocal range and imaginative engagement, written for an ambitious group with a strong artistic identity.
