This arrangement from The Sound of Music may be presented as a solo, preferably for Clarinet/Trumpet in Bb or for Violin/Oboe with a string orchestra accompaniment
2) People Will Say We're In Love
This is from the 1943 musical Oklahoma! and features a preferably a solo oboe (or clarinet/violin) with strings. The oboe presents the main tune and then weaves a delicate counterpoint as the strings take over the tune.
3) I'm gonna wash that man right out'a my hair
A straightforward arrangement of one of the main tunes from the ever popular South Pacific
A full set contains a score and a set of parts (with permission to copy to suit your own requirements) for the followinginstruments:
Soloist parts in C and Bb
Part 1 in C ( Violin 1)
Part 2 in C (Violin 2)
Part 3 in alto clef (Viola)
Part 4 in C (Cello, Double Bass)
