There seems to be a dearth of literature for orchestra that addresses the folk songs of Israel. " Mazel Tov! " is an arrangement of several of these folk tunes. Included are: Chusen Kala Mazel Tov, Avinu Malkenu, Hasidic Waltz, Dodi Li, I have a Little Dreidel, Hatikvah and Hava Nagilla. Arranging this piece was a way for me to research and hear most of this music for the first time. It is very playable and a nice addition to any program. I hope you enjoy playing it.
