The year 2012 saw the publication of the "Little summer music" in an arrangement for viola and piano. The six-movement suite tells the sorrowful history of the Latvian people whose soul and love of nature are captured by the melancholy and folk-like character of the music. This new arrangement for flute and piano has been existing since 2018. The piano part is identical in all versions.
