Here are compositions from the 19th Century – the Romantic Era – transcribed for Low G ukulele. As a composer for the guitar, he was very fond of the theme and variations style which had been an extremely popular form in Vienna. He had a remarkable ability to weave a melody into a passage with a musical effect while remaining true to the idiom of the instrument. These pieces are composed for intermediate to advanced performers and are designed to improve your skills as a performer.
