"Marches of the Seas" is a medley featuring eight military marches. I wanted to create a marches medley being commisioned by a concert orchestra, but finding sheet music of military marches is most difficult. I resorted to recordings by the Royal Marines for inspiration (adding my own Russian touch in orchestration ;-) ) and here is the result! These marches are extremely popular by the public at large, therefore do add this to your band's repertoire. Following is a list of the eight marches featuring in this medley:

'A Life on the Ocean Wave' by Kenneth J. Alford
'On the Quarterdeck' by Kenneth J. Alford
'Yellow Submarine' by Paul McCartney and John Lennon
'Up Periscope' by Paul M. Baker
'Soldier an’ Sailor Too' by unknown
'Warship' by Anthony Isaac
'Guadalcanal March' by Richard Rodgers
This arrangement was performed by the SA Navy Band during their end-year Gala Concerts (2015) with massive positive reception by the audience.
The Download package includes the 'Full Score & Parts'.
