Writen in 1894 for the Waterville Military Band, March "W.M.B." arranged for flute choir. R.B. Hall was a composer and band leader from Maine during the height of American March music. While not as famous as his contemporaneous composers such as John Phillip Sousa or Henry Fillmore, his music still survives today. Standford University's fight song official fight song comes from his New Colonial March and the 1996 film, "Brassed Off" uses halls march Death and Glory in its opening sequence.
