This third volume of organ compositions, Manualiter vol. III, stems from the desire to continue a journey begun with the previous collections, offering new music for organ intended for a wide range of performers. As the title suggests, the main characteristic of these compositions lies in the prevalent use of the manuals. Where the use of the pedalboard is envisaged, it is conceived not in a virtuosic key, but as a harmonic reinforcement and support to the sound texture, with the intention of not creating superfluous performance difficulties and of concentrating attention on expressiveness and musicality.
