Have fun swinging around the keyboard through the changing registers and hand crossings found in this solo. Written in 4/4 meter, the melody begins in Middle C position and then changes position, moving up the keyboard. The lyrics and music aptly depict monkeys swinging high and low. Staccatos used throughout make this piece a wonderful vehicle for learning this important technique. An optional teacher duet adds to the whimsical feel of the piece.

Swing Around
This playful solo swings around the keyboard and has eighth notes for a challenge. I'd recommend to beginners who are transitioning from level 1 to level 2.
