Madiba by Charlie Hill Jazz Ensemble - Sheet Music

By Charlie Hill

The roots of jazz come from deep in the African continent. The world recently lost a true humanitarian, Nelson Mandela, who through a life of challenges had made a difference in the world. He was known to those closest to him as "Madiba" which was his African tribal name. Not only did he survive twenty-seven years of false imprisonment by the all-white regime but he rose to become President of South Africa and was awarded the Nobel peace prize. Mandela (Madiba) helped people come together for the good of mankind. This Jazz/Rock original chart seems a fitting tribute to a great humanitarian and world leader.
