Dora Pejačević was a composer, pianist and violinist (1885-1923).
She is considered to be the first Croatian woman composer; her music is very expressive, in a Late-Romantic style. She composed music for piano and orchestra, as well as numerous songs.
This cycle of four songs is based on texts by Rainer Maria Rilke.
Certainly, the horn will express everything that Rilke's words wish to convey.
