'Lux æterna' was composed in memory of my dear friend, Kenneth Steele, an outstanding choral director and a tremendous friend to many. The work was performed and recorded in 2012 by the Juneau Vocal Alliance under my direction. It evokes a sense of serenity and offers an opportunity for gentle reflection during performance. Performers are encouraged to focus on vowel coloration to create an atmosphere of heavenly paradise.-Thomas Juneau.
