Composed by Bela Keler. Arranged by Albert Schwarzmann. This edition: pdf. 19th Century, Romantic Period. 139 pages. Edition Schwalbe #1063588. Published by Edition Schwalbe (A0.1486526).

Béla Kéler, a contemporary of famous Johann Strauss jr., was a Hungarian composer, conductor and violin player out of a German-speaking familiy. His German name was Adalbert Paul von Kéler. During his lifetime he was a successful composer and conductor as well in Austria-Hungary as also in Germany and several European countries. His Lustspiel (Comedy) Overture op. 73 is probably one of the most known copositions of 139 opus numbers. It was first published in 1872 for symphony orchestra. Today transcriptions for band are more known than the original. This arrangement is kept in original key and is possibly close to the original. Albert Schwarzmann wrote it for his final concert as chief conductor of the municipal band of Zirl, Austria and performed it there on 6 April 2024.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
