Published by Krista Swider (A0.1549380).This duo (violin and viola) arrangement follows Rihanna's original track closely, with the violin playing all of her higher register melismatic vocal lines and the viola taking the lower register. The viola line is focused primarily on the synth's arpeggiated figures (which remind one of those in "Unchained Melody.") I've maintained the key of the original and this arrangement is very accessible, although the natural improvisatory style of Rihanna's vocals leads to some tricky rhythms. Rehearsal letters, measure numbers and bowings are provided for ease of sight-reading at gigs and other performances.
