As happened in their previous project, Life Is Love (2018), Francesco Digilio has composed a sort of sound diary registering and expressing states of mind, feelings and suggestions. His vast range of styles and forms can evoke sweetness, tenderness, desire, wonder, nostalgy, and joy. Afterwards, Ilio Barontini has interpreted these melodic and harmonic visions, giving them a classical-romantic piano texture. After initial improvisations, he has written sound patterns that are both anchored in tradition and open to contemporary influences.
This project testifies to the birth of a new language that retraces the history of the piano and lives on fascinating, magical nuances.
