Lotus Feet by Steve Vai Concert Band - Digital Sheet Music

By Steve Vai

LOTUS FEET

LOTUS FEET is a solo work by Steve Vai, released on his 2005 album Real Illusions: Reflections. This arrangement features a solo guitarist with concert band, and is sure to melt faces in the crowd before you get to that next Sousa march or Grainger folk song. You'll definitely need a drummer and a piano player for this one. The solo part is definitely not for the faint-hearted guitar player, but the band accompaniment isn't technically very challenging. NOTE: this arrangement is in the same key as Vai's recording (beginning in E Major), which isn't always a forgiving key for concert bands. We're not about to go changing the key on your guitar soloist after (s)he has put in all that work, so a generous number of courtesy accidentals have been included to help in those sections.
