Enjoyable and Achievable Latin Piece!
I'm an adult learner playing in a community band, and "Los Dos Amigos" is fantastic. James Swearingen created a very easy Grade 1.5 Latin piece that's genuinely fun to play. It sounds appealing and is completely achievable for a weekend musician. The optional duet sections, featuring instruments like flute or trumpet, are a great way to step up and challenge yourself a little, too. Highly recommend for pure enjoyment!

Excellent Starter Piece for Young Bands
As a band director, I found "Los Dos Amigos" by James Swearingen an ideal Grade 1.5 selection. Its very easy Latin sound is highly appealing and a fantastic motivator for beginning students.
