He was an itinerant musician who traveled throughout Ireland composing and performing his tunes and often staying with lords and landowner's whose names he gave to many of his tunes. McIntire's arrangement is for a STRING TRIO for players at the INTERMEDIATE SKILL LEVEL in which all the players participate in a lively exchange of the melody and its variations.
