The "Loop Songs" by Bertrand Gröger (Jazzchor Freiburg) are modern choir exercises for all SATB groups. Originally conceived as warm-ups or to loosen up repertoire rehearsals, many songs are also suitable as concert songs. The 44 compositions, devided into four graded levels of difficulty, offer a versatile practice method for style characteristics in relation to rhythm, harmonics and melodics. By means of "learning by singing", the singers acquire skills in scat syllables, timing and intonation.
