Looking For The Good Life - Looking For The Good Life was supposed to be the Title Song to Dirty Dancing II (the sequel to Dirty Dancing). The movie was to begin with Patrick Swayze driving back from the mountains to NYC with this song playing in the background. However, Vestron went bankrupt in 1988 and everything was cancelled. Then the movie rights were purchased by Jose Menendez (the founder of Blockbuster) who owned Live Entertainment . His story is much worse than bankruptcy. For those who don’t remember, Jose Menendez and his wife Kitty were murdered by their sons Lyle and Erik. Sad to say, the song stayed in limbo until now. It is a wonderful song that catches the essence of the proposed movie with a masterful recording.
