He wrote it while vacationing in Maui, "lounging in a hammock one night and looking up at the stars." He describes it as a "song that put me on the elevators" (since most of his music throughout the 70's was more rock-oriented). In this String Trio arrangement, the violins take turns sharing the melody while the cello accompanies them with arpeggiated figures.
