Liturgical Suite Organ - Sheet Music

Organized by liturgical year, progressing from Advent to Christmas to Easter and ending with Pentecost and Most Holy Trinity, each movement in Quinn's Liturgical Suite is based on chant tunes of the season (veni redemptor gentium, resonet in laudibus, regina caeli, laetare, and te deum). This cohesive piece may be performed as a set or each movement can be done separately. Brisk, toccata-like passages alternate with grandiose organ sections, and the adagio movement brings a wonderful feeling of repose. Some practice time is required, but it's a worthy challenge for the capable organist. Iain Quinn is Assistant Professor of Organ at Florida State University. Liturgical Suite was commissioned for the Seattle AGO 2009 Region VIII Convention. Contents: Veni Redemptor Gentium, Resonet in Laudibus, Regina Caeli, Laetare, Te Deum
