Three of its four short movements, Waltz, Pastorale, Musette and Finale are in classical dance forms and all are thematically related to each other.
Little Suite No. 2 Op. 79 has been recorded by the Salzburg Guitar Trio on Brilliant Classics 97573, John W. Duarte Guitar Music volume 7.

La Little Suite No. 2, Op. 79 pour trois guitares a été écrite pour la Cannington International Guitar Summer School de 1979, à Somerset (Angleterre), dont Duarte a été le directeur pédagogique pendant vingt ans (1973-1993). Trois de ses quatre courts mouvements — Waltz, Pastorale, Musette et Finale — sont construits sur des formes de danses classiques, et tous sont thématiquement liés entre eux.
La Little Suite n° 2, op. 79 a été enregistrée par le Salzburg Guitar Trio pour le label Brilliant Classics (réf. 97573), John W. Duarte Guitar Music, volume 7.
