This is an original composition for SATB with piano accompaniment and violin. Lyrics are derived from the poem "Petals" by Amy Lowell. Inspired by French Impressionists who were noted for their "water' inspired works that gave the impression of ebb and flow and the glimmering effect of light on the water. The use of added-tone chords, alternating 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures are used to help achieve that effect. All parts are included for ease of practice.
