When I I found this old hymn and wrote a new melody for it, I was aiming for a really uplifting, triumphant feel to match the strong lyrics of praise. It starts in B flat major and modulates to a soaring B major for the last verse A full lyric video is available on Youtube for practice or inspiration, and it's also on most streaming platforms.
