This ancient French carol found in an old hymnal grasped my attention one dark winter evening during our choir rehearsal. The minor key invoked a sense of awe and reverence, the words encouraged a closer look at the advent of the Christ-child.
This is not a difficult piece to play, but bring your awe and reverence to the piano and communicate the words with each note you play, perhaps distributing the words in your church bulletin so others can also worship as you play. Length 2:09
