Great piece, BAD arrangement
Grand Tango exists in multiple arrangements. This one is NOT the one you hear recordings of because its actually pretty poorly written. Im a professional looking to perform Grand Tango on a recital, and this arrangement just didnt make the grade with me. It missed opportunities for violin virtuosity, seems written by a pianist. And some of the slower middle sections go on way too long so the arch of the piece isnt compelling. Learn from my mistake and order the one by Sofia. Its MUCH better.
