Background
Laudate Dominum (KV 339) is the fifth movement of Mozart's Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, composed in Salzburg in 1780. Written for soprano soloist, choir, and orchestra, it is one of Mozart's most tender and radiant sacred works — a setting of Psalm 117 that has remained among his most beloved choral compositions.
