Excellent Resource for Developing Musicians
This play-along collection is fantastic for my intermediate jazz students. The clear lead sheets and online audio tracks, with removable parts, are invaluable for teaching rhythm and ensemble playing. Useful for Stylistic Vocal Coaching
As a vocal coach, this collection provides excellent material for stylistic study. The melody cues are very helpful for demonstrating proper inflection and articulation to singers. While it's a lead sheet format, offering flexibility for piano accompaniment, a collaborative pianist will need to interpret the chords to create an appropriate texture rather than a pre-written part. Great selection of standards.
