Great Accompaniment and Practice for Vocalists
This volume offers excellent material for accompanying singers in the Latin Jazz idiom. The piano accompaniment part primarily provides a supportive, comping texture rather than doubling the melody, which is ideal. It helps vocalists work on style and phrasing. The split-track audio is also a significant benefit for singers to practice with, even if specific vocal ranges aren't provided in the score.

Excellent Resource for Intermediate Students
This Latin Jazz play-along is fantastic for intermediate students. The clear lead sheets and included audio tracks, especially with the removable parts, are invaluable for teaching rhythm and ensemble playing. Engraving quality is very good, making it easy to read. An effective tool for students to develop improvisation skills and explore the Latin jazz style. Highly recommend for any jazz curriculum!

So Much Fun to Play Along To!
I absolutely love this Latin Jazz book! Playing iconic songs like 'Mas Que Nada' and 'Agua De Beber' with the professional backing tracks makes me feel like I'm part of a band. The difficulty is perfect for a weekend player like me – challenging enough to be engaging but totally achievable. It’s a great way to relax, enjoy the music, and really feel that authentic Latin groove.
