Sentadas junto a la orilla, de la límpida quebrada,
ya terminan la jornada, porque la ropa les brilla.
Son las pobres lavanderas, que lavan del mundo a solas,
los pecados que las olas, extienden por las riveras. (BIS)

Va la tarde repitiendo, el agua sigue corriendo,
