By Antonio Vivladi. Composed by Antonio Vivaldi. Arranged by Peet du Toit. This edition: pdf. Baroque. 1 pages. Peet du Toit #1438613. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.1879686).

This work comes from a set of 12 concertos called L'Estro armonico - issued in Amsterdam in 1812 - which established Vivaldi's reputation in Europe. Opus 3 is by for the most popular set of concertos, and must have been played at some time or another by every orchestra in Europe. The a minor concerto is one of the best-known, and its opening Allegr begins with a noble theme containing as is often the case, some internal repettiion of both melody and rhythm, which impressed it upon the mind.

Here is an excerpt thereof for Violin and Cello for your enjoyment.
