A double reed choir transcription of the famous New World Symphony second movement. Despite being full of famous solos for English Horn and oboe, playing the quiet, sustained string parts in the key of Db major/C# minor without sticking out is an enormous challenge. Despite the seeming simplicity of the parts, this is definitely one of the most challenges I've had in making a multi-track recording. It's arranged with an advanced college/professional group in mind, and all parts will need great amounts of control in order to play this musically. All oboe and bassoon parts are divisi.
