Not useable

I wanted to like this, as a piano teacher of 25 years, with a masters degree in pedagogy, I am always looking for new methods to use with beginning students. This is a beautiful printed book, the pictures and characters are inviting. There is no way a student could use this book to learn to play the piano. There is so little explanation of technique, note reading, etc. There are very few pieces and exercises to give a student experience to learn the basics. There are audio files that students can listen to of Lang Lang playing that are nice, trying to inspire them, but, there is nothing here that is useable beyond that.
