This publication contains various transcriptions written in the beginning for lute, vihuela or harpsichord. I have avoided as much as possible the modification of these works, so that the transcriptions are very akin to the original. Finger positions are always a cause of dissent amongst guitarists. l don't pretend to propose the ideal positions - only a model that every one can modify according to his morphology and his personal idea. Lastly, as in my previous publications, l have not suggested a personal interpretation, giving complete freedom to the teacher and the pupil.
Dieses werk enthält eine gewisse Anzahl von Umsetzungen, ursprünglich für Lante, Vihuela oder Cembalo geschrieben. Ich habe, so weit es irgend ging vermieden, die Werke zu verändern, um so möglichst original getrene Umsetzungen zu Liefern. Die Fingersätze sind oft ein Grund des Zwiespalts unter Gitarrespielern. Ich behaupte nicht, den einzig richtigen Fingersatz vorauschlagen, sondern einen Muster-Fingersatz, den jeder, je nach Körperban und persönlicher Auffassung, abändern kann. Schliesslich, wie in den vorhergehenden Werken, habe ich keine musikalischen Abstufungen angegeben, um dadurch den Lehrern und Schülern die volle Freineit zu lassen.
