Verdi's music is know for its drama and depth of feeling. While the full orchestral version is always going to be fantastic, this arrangement brings most of the energy, sense of foreboding and delightful melody of the original. Thirteen wind players suffer from a limited repertoire, but this will, I believe, add to the body of work for such a useful ensemble.
