My Little Ouverture for orchestra (2020) is dedicated to my greatgrandfather Paul Woschenko (1882-1979), who came from the Ukraine, but was taken prisoner of war by Germany in 1914 and, after many unsuccessful attempts to return, finally found a new home in Holstein Switzerland. The very imaginative smart and funny piece is especially written for good amateur orchestras or school orchestras and may also be a worthwhile contribution to an orchestra competition. This Edition includes the full score and all orchestral parts.
Meine Kleine Ouvertüre für Orchester (2020) ist meinem Urgroßvater Paul Woschenko (1882-1979) gewidmet, der aus der Ukraine stammte, 1914 allerdings in deutsche Kriegsgefangenschaft geriet und nach mehreren vergeblichen Versuchen zurückzukehren schließlich in der Holsteinischen Schweiz eine neue Heimat gefunden hat. Das recht phantasievolle, augenzwinkernde und lustige Stück ist insbesondere für gute Amateur- oder Schulorchester geschrieben und eignet sich auch als origineller Beitrag zu Orchesterwettbewerben.
