"Kiss The Girl" first showed up in the 1989 Disney animated film "The Little Mermaid." It was nominated for both an Oscar and a Golden Globe for best song, but it lost out to both ... to "Under The Sea," from the same movie. It has since appeared on Broadway (2007-8) and in 2023's live-action version of the same movie. It's a lively little piece for brass quintet, with melody chores scattered through the ensemble.
