One of my favourite Bollywood Songs, Kal Ho Naa Ho, here in my arrangement for string trio (it's the complete song, with all the interluds included).
This started off as a request from one of my students: she wanted to play the song to her mum as it is her favourite. As I was writing out the melody line for her, I completely fell in love with the song as well, and I was so pleased that both my student and her mum loved the arrangement that I wrote for her. She gradually wanted to add more of the song, once she learned the basics, so, in the end, she got a version which included most of the interludes too. I'm very grateful to my student and her mum for introducing me to this gorgeous song.
This however, is the complete song, including all the interludes, and, as it's a trio arrangement, all instruments are kept busy. I've also changed the key to C Major, so that it lies even better for the violin
