Paul McCartney wrote "Junk" while the Beatles were contemplating their belly buttons in India in 1968 (he bailed on that excursion fairly early). The song was passed over for both the "White Album" and "Abbey Road," so, after the Beatles broke up, McCartney included it on his self-titled first solo album. That record also included a "singalong" version of "Junk," which is approximately what this would be.
This is more elevator music, definitely useful for when the band is not necessarily the center of attention.
