Finally Playing Like Cannonball!
As an adult learner, I've always wanted to play Cannonball Adderley's iconic solos, and this collection delivers! The intermediate level is challenging but absolutely achievable, making practice enjoyable. It's so rewarding to sound like the master himself on classics like 'Dat Dere' and 'Work Song.' Cannonball
All the songs in this collection are transcribed to reflect just how Adderly probably played them. Being very weak at transcribing, I was excited to be able to play and sound like a jazz sax player. For me it's great to produce a pretty neat sound by sight-reading. Without this type of sheet music available I couldn't enjoy the sounds of a super sax player like Julian Adderly.
