"Joy to the world, He's got the whole world in His hands!" Ruth Schram has breathed new life into a traditional spiritual by adding touches of Joy to the World and the Brahms' Lullaby. To this she's added a Christmas text, "He's got the shepherds and the wise men in His hands." This clever idea has been beautifully arranged and is great fun for singers of all ages!

Choir loved this one!
We used this wonderfully-constructed piece for our church choir annual pre-Christmas choral service and again with a scratch choir on Christmas Day. It was very well received by singers and congregation alike. It was very manageable, even for non-music-readers, and easily learned. The only challenges were conducting ones: It was essential to conduct the transitions between 4/4 and 3/4 meter very precisely, otherwise it sounded messy.
