Journey down is a song that asks me to step off the treadmill of my busy
sometimes automatic life. It invites me to sit in silence and ask myself
why I live the way I live, think the way I think, fear the things I
fear. In other words this song asks me to get in touch with both my
conscious and unconscious motivations and discover what I can learn from
that exploration.

From the comfort of confinement while the tears filled up my eyes.
I have dreamed that I could bend the bars for liberation's cause.
But when I wake I find the shadow has me locked inside it's jaws.
I'm tied and bound, I'm gonna take that journey down.
I have railed against religion for the evils it has done.
I have seen the road less traveled down which I might have gone.
I have felt the growing thunder of liberation's storm.
But I'm locked inside this prison my history has formed.
