Ironically, the journey in Searching for Bobby Fischer doesn’t actually include Bobby Fischer himself. Composer James Horner’s use of a multi-layered piano motif cleverly represents the complex minds and lightning-fast strokes of play until Josh’s theme bursts forth with triumphant power.
