John King – The Classical Ukulele is a collection of 19 classical and traditional works ingeniously arranged for ukulele by John King. While this book is ideal for more experienced players, all of the arrangements are written in tablature so that anyone can play without having to read music. Most amazing is how well these famous pieces by J. S. Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Joplin and others translate to the ukulele. Works include “Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring,” “Für Elise,” “Chop Sticks,” “Greensleeves,” “Danny Boy” and “The Entertainer.” Also included are recordings of all of the arrangements magnificently performed by John King himself. All works are arranged for GCEA tuned ukuleles. Audio is accessed online using the unique code inside the book and can be streamed or downloaded. The audio files include PLAYBACK+, a multi-functional audio player that allows you to slow down audio without changing pitch, set loop points, change keys, and pan left or right.

Excellent Resource for Ukulele Students
This collection by John King is a fantastic pedagogical tool. While the arrangements are for more experienced players, the inclusion of tablature makes complex classical pieces accessible. It's superb for developing technique and musicality without the initial hurdle of note reading. The clear layout and diverse repertoire of Bach, Mozart, and Chopin pieces offer engaging challenges for students.

My New Favorite Way to Play Classical!
I absolutely adore 'The Classical Ukulele'! Playing Bach and Mozart on my uke feels so unique and fun. The tablature is a game-changer, making these beautiful, famous pieces totally achievable for me after work, even though they're for experienced players. The online audio with John King's performances is brilliant for learning and just enjoying. It's inspiring to sound so good without struggling with traditional sheet music!
