This is a fun piece which combines two well known Christmas tunes: ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Joy to the World’.
After a brief introduction, ‘Joy to the World’ starts at Section A with the 1st and 2nd violins working together and the lower orchestra complementing them. At Section B there is an echo of the introduction before the piece changes into a nice foot tapping version of ‘Jingle Bells’ at Section C. Finally, the tunes are combined at Section D leading to an energetic ending.
