I am directing a choir of about 50 singers for Christmas and am looking for music. I enjoyed listening to the part of the score that I could. Disappointed that I couldn't hear it all and follow along with the score. When I will be spending that much money, I need to be sure that the singers will be able to perform, the accompanist (piano only) can perform the piece and that I, just a lay director with a lot of directing experience, can direct this in a manner fitting the performance. Wish I could see and hear more of of this piece. Since the accompaniment will be piano (or 2) only, the accompaniment could be rated intermediate/advanced. It has some challenging places.
