Many years before Lloyd Webber's "Cats" I created my own setting for TS Eliot's "Song of the Jellicles" (from Old Possum's book of practical cats) Originally it was intended for choir, but the estate of T S Eliot would not let me use the poem itself as a choral piece. However, they did allow me to use the word "Jellicle" in my instrumental titles. This version includes various ornamentations based on the playfulness of my cats. The pdf file here contains the score and parts. The sound sample is performed by musicians in Costa Rica.
