Jazz, Rags & Blues, Book 2
I really enjoy playing the songs in this book. They are very easy for Intermediate player and the rhythm of the songs is very jazzy. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys jazz.

Unique and Wonderful
Jazz, Rags and Blues Book 1 is mandatory repertoire for my beginners. This Book 2 is SO Very special. Students with a mature feel for music love these pieces. To play them beautifully takes and intermediate skill level. Boys and girls alike cherish the sounds of these pieces.

Jazz, Rags & Blues - Book 2
I love the book. It's full of fun and varied music and easy to play. I've been playing for a number of years and recently heard one of the songs in this book played and wanted the music for myself. The music is easy to read and play and I think Martha Mier is very good at writing music. I'm likely to order more.

Great!
I've been using the JR&B set of books with my students for several years. They're excellent supplemental pieces to teach tricky rhythms. The editing is good and the students enjoy the variety.

Jazz Rags & Blues Book 2
Bought these for my students to get away from the standard classical style of playing. The 8 songs in this book have different style rhythms from blues,Jazz, and Ragtime.This book 2 has some very good syncopated rhythms, plus I have the students also add some improv. or change the note durations along with what is written to make the songs sound more lively. Songs in this series are pretty good as written.The Book 2 is easy to read and well organized. Songs are 1 or 2 pages in length. The songs are a series to get into pop/blues/Rag to learn basic syncopated rhythms. Book 2 is for the intermediate student throughout the book. All 5 Levels of this series are pretty good learning books. Variety of Blues, Jazz,and Ragtime songs from easy to the intermediate/advanced playing student. All the songs have very interesting styles to them. hope this helps.

Loved it
This is a great introduction to jazz for the early intermediate piano student. It bridges the simplicity of elementary with the the color of intermediate. Its also fun to play for more advanced students.
